So sad. Teresa tried her best to stay strong on the Oct. 16 episode of ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ as she said goodbye to her husband, Joe, who finally surrendered and started his 41-month prison sentence.
Of all the drama Teresa Giudice has been through over the past seven seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, we can almost guarantee that the Oct. 16 episode was the most emotional one for her. And that’s because she said goodbye to her husband, Joe, as he surrendered and began his 41-month prison sentence.
But before that happened, Teresa and Joe took their four daughters to Magnolia Bakery to make their own cupcakes. It was obviously a time for them to bond and take photos before Joe was forced to leave them for three and a half years. Milania and her sisters even wished Joe a happy birthday since his upcoming one would be spent behind bars. (How sad.)
Later, Teresa threw Joe a going away party at the Blu Alehouse restaurant in Riverdale, New Jersey. Kids were invited, so it was very upbeat and Joe’s mood was very positive. And about halfway through the party, a mechanical bull was brought out, which both Joe and Teresa rode. So it was a fun way to say goodbye to Joe. But nothing about his actual goodbye was fun. In fact, Melissa and Joe Gorga looked upset, Teresa’s daughters were crying, and paparazzi surrounded the driveway as Joe finally headed to prison.
Then, later that night, Teresa and her daughters all went to sleep in her bed after they said prayers for daddy and hugged one another. It was super hard to watch, especially because Milania seemed so upset.
In other housewives news, Siggy visited the Holocaust Memorial with her family, where her dad told a story about his journey to freedom. And Dolores shopped for final touches for her upcoming housewarming party — one that Jacqueline, Teresa AND Melissa are all invited to. They still have not seen or talked to each other since their nasty fight in Vermont. Melissa did send a congratulatory text to Ashlee about her pregnancy, but neither Teresa nor Melissa have been in contact with Jacqueline, so it’ll be interesting to see them come face-to-face next week.
