It’s almost like Tommy Ford is still here with us. The entertainment world lost a true hero the day Tommy passed away on Oct. 12. It came as a sudden shock to all of us, but maybe, just maybe, the Martin star knew a little something we didn’t. In his last interview, Tommy reveals that “half his life is over,” and he’s “OK with it.” The 90’s icon was 52 when he passed away, which still sounds young to us!

The sitcom star passed away inside an Atlanta hospital after an aneurysm ruptured in his abdomen. Wifey Gina Sasso was the first to give an update on his health, but it wasn’t good news. She explained that Tommy was rushed to the emergency room on Oct. 9, and his health was on the slow decline ever since. The same day that Tommy was put on life support, he passed away just a few hours later. “Look how much I accomplished while I was here,” continues Tommy, speaking in the past tense and acting as if he’s already moved on. “I reached the destinations and I changed some lives.”

He truly did touch the lives so many people, especially in the entertainment industry. A-listers like LL Cool J and Vivica A. Fox took to Twitter to mourn the loss of their late friend. His most notable friendship, however, lies with fellow actor Martin Lawrence. The Bad Boys alum sent his “big brother” (and co-star of five years) all the prayers in the world. We’ll never forget Tommy or the monumental impact he’s had on the acting industry.

HollywoodLifers, do you think Tommy knew he was going to pass on?
