Dylan Rieder was taken from this world at the too-young age of 28, and a family member tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that he died surrounded by his mother, father, sister and dozens more loved ones.
“He was with around 50 family and friends when he passed away, including his father Joe, mom Dana and little sister Makenna,” the family member shares with us. Our hearts go out to them all.
“Dylan was loved by his family and friends and he inspired so many people because he was such a unique and amazing person,” the family member adds. “The family would like Dylan’s fans to know that we appreciate all the messages of support that we have received during this difficult time.” Indeed, fans and peers around the world have taken to social media to share their favorite memories of Dylan.

As we sadly told you previously, the pro skateboarder passed away from complications with his leukemia. He began skateboarding when he was just 9 years old, and rose to professional stardom. Dylan also modeled, and starred in DKNY’s spring 2014 campaign along with supermodels like Cara Delevingne.
