LeBron James totally slammed Donald Trump on Oct. 12, saying that the Republican presidential nominee’s appalling comments about women from the infamous leaked tape are ‘trash talk’ — not ‘locker room talk’. WATCH the NBA star take down Trump right here!
LeBron James, 31, is not here for Donald Trump‘s antics. The basketball star spoke out at the Cleveland Cavaliers practice facility, and he’s angry that Trump tried to group himself with him and his fellow athletes. “Locker room talk is not that that guy did. We don’t disrespect women in no shape or fashion,” LeBron said. “I got a mother-in-law, a wife, a mom and a daughter and those conversations just don’t go on in our locker room,” he added. WATCH the video, via TMZ, below:
“What goes on in our locker room is sporting events that happened the night before, about family, about strategies that we may have that night…a highlight that may have happened, a home run in the bottom of the ninth…” LeBron explained. “But what that guy was saying, that’s not — I don’t know what that is. That’s trash talk.” Amen.
As we previously told you, a 2005 Access Hollywood tape leaked on Oct. 7. It featured Trump making highly inappropriate and downright disgusting comments about women and how he likes to “grab their p*ssies”, unaware that the cameras were rolling.
His subsequent “apology” could barely qualify as such, as he basically wrote the horrifying conversation with Billy Bush off as “locker room” talk. “I apologize if anyone was offended,” Trump said in a statement, but also claimed, “This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago.” Yeah, that’s not an apology, dude.
