Khloe Kardashian has broken her silence about Kim’s horrifying robbery at gunpoint in Paris. During an interview on ‘Ellen,’ Kim’s younger sister revealed that why family has been limiting the amount they share on social media, and gave an update on Kim’s status now.
“I think it’s just a wake up call to make a lot of life adjustments,” Khloe, 32, told Ellen DeGeneres and co-host Kevin Hart during the Oct. 11 episode after Ellen pointed out that the family has been pretty quite on social media. “This is a really serious matter for Kim; I think that’s really personal as to when that emotional terror you could move on from that. I think for us it’s all a wake up call for all of us, but definitely just to make sure our sister is ok.”
She also revealed her sister is “not doing that well” after the horrific robbery that happened on Oct. 3, but the family is sticking close together to support her after she was held at gunpoint in her hotel and robbed of nearly $6 million worth of jewelry. The concierge reportedly let the masked robbers into her room, and TMZ claims that Kim tearfully asked him, ‘Are we gonna die?’ He calmly answered her with, ‘I don’t know.’ Of course, the investigation into what happened is ongoing.
When asked if things have changed a lot, Khloe said yes, in the aspect they’re not going to be sharing as much, and will be sure they are always protected. “Like I said, we’re a family we’ll do this together. I think it’s important to make those adjustments and to pull back a little bit, I think is always smart,” she added.
Of course, the most important thing is that Kim is safe so Khloe was very grateful for that.
