SO touching! Once again Chris Pratt has given us the feels — this time by visiting a children’s hospital and taking photos with young fans. The star even visited the NICU and cuddled with two adorable premature babies! Talk about having a huge heart! See the super sweet pics here and just TRY not to swoon.
Chris Pratt, 37, paid a visit to the Seattle Children’s Hospital on Oct. 10 and shared his experience with fans by posting several pics with super heartfelt messages about the children he met there — including premature twins who reminded him of his own son, Jack, 4. JUST when we thought we couldn’t love the The Magnificent Seven star anymore, he has to go and melt our hearts like this.
“Ever since Jack’s premature birth, we have a special affinity for the NICU (neo-natal intensive care unit),” Chris began his Instagram message regarding the twins on Oct. 11. “Today I spent a little time with Coen and Zion, twins who were born too early only a pound and a half each. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at @seattlechildrens. The boys are doing fine. Although they’re both missing their big sis.”
But tiny babies aren’t the only patients the actor spent time with during his hospital visit. He also met a young girl named Madisen who’s currently battling cancer. “What an awesome kid with such a beautiful smile,” he captioned the photo of her and him. “She’s a lover of art and fashion and she’s going places. Thank you @seattlechildrens for the opportunity to come by and brighten some days. My heart is full.”
Madisen is #strongagainstcancer. What an awesome kid with such a beautiful smile. She's a lover of art and fashion and she's going places. Thank you @seattlechildrens for the opportunity to come by and brighten some days. My heart is full. Our hearts are full too, Chris! But the love didn’t stop there. He also stopped by to visit a boy named Rowan, who dressed up as Groot for Halloween from Chris’ 2014 blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy. He promised that Rowan and his family were in his “prayers.” It’s easy to see why a children’s hospital is so near and dear to Chris’ heart. After all, he and his wife Anna Faris, 39, spent quite a lot of time in the NICU right after their son was born in 2012.
Little Jack came nine weeks early and had to be held in the NICU with a feeding tube, wires, and a PICC line. We love that Chris has found such a touching way to give back! There’s no question he made a lot of kids’ days.
Tell us, HollywoodLifers — do you love that Chris volunteers at a children’s hospital? Pretty sweet, right?
