The men who robbed Kim Kardashian, 35, at gunpoint were obviously incredibly skilled, but it looks like they made a small mistake as they tried to get away from the lavish hotel where she was staying on Oct. 3. It turns out the men dropped a piece of jewelry that they stole as they were running away, and the bling has been identified as a “platinum mounted diamond cross,” according to TMZ.

The cross necklace, which is worth $33, 180 from Jacob and Co., was reportedly found by someone simply walking by the day after the robbery. As we previously reported, police are now checking the jewelry for any DNA that can possibly help them catch the men who did this to Kim.

Kim was photographed out and about wearing a cross necklace on Oct. 1, just two days before she was attacked. It isn’t confirmed that this is the exact item stolen, but it certainly looks similar to the piece. However, the $33k bling was just a small portion of what Kim had taken from her: Altogether, she had 13 items stolen, one being the $4 million diamond ring Kanye West, 39, gave her in August.

Kim’s robbers are still at large, so police are hoping this new evidence can provide a major break in the case. Meanwhile, Kim has been hiding out, first in New York, now in Los Angeles, and has understandably been quiet on social media since this all went down.

HollywoodLifers, do you think the police will find any DNA on this piece of jewelry? Are you shocked that they were able to get such tangible evidence?
