We absolutely love Gwen Stefani, 47, and her catchy tunes, but she wasn’t exactly the most discrete and private when it came to her divorce from Gavin Rossdale, 50. Her hit songs like “Used To Love You” and “Misery” still play every day on the radio, and it’s pretty clear that they’re Gavin-inspired. Not to mention, her relationship with Blake Shelton blossomed right before our eyes on set of The Voice. She’s clearly moved on, and now, Gavin is ready to do the same. “It’s like enough already,” he said to The Sunday Times, adding, “I’ve got to move on. Everyone has got to move on.”

It’s been more than a YEAR since the couple filed for divorce, but according to Gavin, people still love talking about it! And if it weren’t for Gwen’s newest music, we may not have even known about their split. “I went through a real period of anger, but I felt like this song was almost like a forgiveness song,” she explained to E!, referring to the hit she wrote about Gavin’s cheating. The mother-of-three even remembers the EXACT date she found out about his affairs, which was Feb. 9. “It was the beginning of hell,” she adds. “Like six, seven, eight months of torture, trying to figure out this big secret.”

Surely the Bush singer wasn’t happy that Gwen was airing out his dirty laundry to different news outlets. People say you should never cheat on a musician because they’ll write about it in a song, which couldn’t be more true in Gavin’s case. But despite their ups and downs, the former couple’s primary focus is still their three boys, Zuma, Kingston, and Apollo. “Somehow you have to put one foot after the other and make it happen,” Gavin concludes.

HollywoodLifers, do you think Gwen should have kept their divorce more private?
