STRIKE 3! There will be a ton of strikeouts when the Cleveland Indians travel to Fenway Park to battle the Red Sox during game 3 of the ALDS on Oct. 9th. Catch every swing and miss live online here beginning at 4pm EST.
Why so many strikeouts for this game? Cause each team will be putting killer pitchers on the mound for this huge war. For the Indians, Josh Tomlin will be mowing down batters while the Red Sox will be hoping Clay Buchholz can put up a ton of K’s. Both of these guys have amazing control and will be punishing the strike zone during their outings. This will be a meeting no real MLB fan will want to miss. WATCH THE INDIANS VS. RED SOX ONLINE HERE.
Don’t let his 4.4 ERA fool you, Josh has 118 K’s on a 13-9 regular season record. The rightie from Tyler, Texas has a nasty cutter which gets up into the 80’s and great movement on his sinker. But the pitches of Josh which most baffle players may be his curve and change. When Josh gets in a zone his stuff can be almost unhittable so good luck to the Red Sox sluggers.
Clay has some heat too and will be equally challenging to hitters. The right-hander for the Red Sox throws right but bats left and will be walking into this game with an ERA at 4.78. He has put up 93 strikeouts this season and can paint the corners as good as any ace. Clay’s change drops to 82 to contrast his four-seamer which touches the 90’s. Go get’em Clay!
