OMG! ‘The Walking Dead’ cast unveiled a first look at a scene from the season 7 premiere, and HollywoodLife.com has ALL of the details right here. Click inside!
On Saturday, October 8, the cast of The Walking Dead — including Jeffrey Dean Morgan — took over the Theater at Madison Square Garden for their annual panel at NYCC. During the panel, fans were given an EXCLUSIVE sneak peek at a never-before-seen clip from the upcoming seventh season, and we were there to see it so we can share ALL of the details with you!
Right away we get an up close look at a sweaty Rick covered in blood, and he’s shocked. (So yes, he lived.) However, just moments after, he shakes his shock away and becomes Rick.
“I’m gonna kill you,” he whispers to Negan. Negan leans down in front of him, showing Lucille covered in someone’s blood, and asks him to “speak up,” so Rick takes a deep breath. “Not today, not tomorrow, but I’m gonna kill you,” Rick says, looking Negan dead in the eyes — who then laughs.
With that, the horrifying villain explains to Rick the importance of having a “right hand man,” asking if he just killed his. Then, he takes an ax from Simon, his right hand man, before dragging Rick into his trailer. Next to him is a pile of blood.
While we didn’t get many spoilers from the epic panel, Executive Producer Scott Gimple did say that praise the “astounding” performances. “There are some creepy, strange, weird [new] Walkers. And there’s are some amazing new faces,” he added. Oh, and we must note that Lauren Cohan (Maggie) was sobbing during the panel.
The season premiere of The Walking Dead airs on Oct. 23 on AMC. Tell us, HollywoodLifers — What do YOU think about this wild new scene from The Walking Dead? Comment below!
