In their last Comic Con ever, the ‘Teen Wolf’ cast took the stage at their NYCC panel on Oct. 8 to tease the epic new season and reflect on the wonderful memories from the past six seasons. Here’s everything we learned at the ‘Teen Wolf’ panel!
The panel started off by showing the incredible trailer we’ve already seen, where Stiles declares his love for Lydia before being taken by the Ghost Riders.
The never-before-seen cold open of the season 6 premiere was then shown to fans. The season begins with Hayden and Liam on a date. Liam got a new car, but it breaks down in the middle of their date. They see a car coming in the distance, and it’s super creepy. No one’s driving the car. They see someone in the back, and it’s a little boy. He tries to run away and says, “Don’t let them take me, too.”
Meanwhile, Stiles and Scott are getting into some trouble in Beacon Hills. They’re a little bored and acting as vigilantes in Beacon Hills. “They don’t need us anymore,” Scott says to Stiles. But then Stilinski calls them. “They need us!” Stiles screams. Stilinski needs Scott’s help to find the boy’s parents. He taps into his memories and sees the parents were taken by the Ghost Riders. “They’re coming back,” the boy says. “They’re coming for me!”
What You Need To Know About Season 6
*When asked about that epic Stiles and Lydia scene in the trailer, Holland Roden says, “What the hell is a Stiles? You don’t know who he is talking to necessarily.” Okay, Holland. Don’t tease us now!
*Jeff Davis on Stydia in the final season: “I think it’s all up there on the screen. We want to bring some relationships full circle. We want to give the audience at least a few things they want.”
*Once again, Scott will not be able to hold the pack together this season. “The struggle with Scott every single season is the possibility of not being able to hold the pack together,” Tyler said. “No, I do not hold my pack together this season.”
*Liam and Hayden aren’t going to be on solid ground this season. “They go through some rough times,” Jeff warned. “They might be pulled apart inexplicably. Liam and Hayden are going to be butting heads a little.”
*Expect some familiar faces in the final season. “There are a number of people showing up,” Jeff said. So, what about Tyler Hoechlin? “I’ll talk to his agent again,” Jeff added.
*When asked the moment he knew Teen Wolf had changed his life, Tyler said, “The second I met Dylan [O’Brien].” Be right back, SOBBING!
*Linden Ashby admitted that he wasn’t so sure about Teen Wolf before the show started. But he quickly changed his tune. “I remember getting the script and my first reaction is, ‘Teen Wolf’ really? They’re doing that? That’s the best they could come up with?’ Then I read this script and I’m like, ‘This is really good.’ And then I meet these kids and I go, ‘This could be something.’ And then I work with them and I see the finished product and I go, ‘We’re going to be around for a while.’ We call it lightning in a bottle and that doesn’t happen very often.”
*Could Allison somehow return in the final season? “There are no plans yet, but it’s hard,” Jeff said. “You wouldn’t believe the number of crazy ideas we’ve talked about in the writers room.”
*Certain characters may find their end in this season,” Jeff said.
Teen Wolf’s final season will start on Nov. 15.
