After news broke that ‘Entertainment Tonight’ co-anchor Nancy O’Dell was the married woman who Donald Trump said mortifyingly misogynistic things about on a hot mic tape from 2005, her former boss, Brad Bessey came to bat for her. Get the scoop here on how Nancy is ‘above the sexist objectification’ of the Republican presidential nominee.
Neither Nancy O’Dell, 50 nor Entertainment Tonight have yet to speak out since it was revealed that she was the married woman who Donald Trump, 70, said such disgustingly sexist things about on a hot mic tape, after she refused his advances. However, Brad Bessey, the former executive producer of ET, and Nancy’s old boss has commented, and what he said is just so supportive and uplifting. On Oct. 7, Brad tweeted that Nancy “is classy, beautiful, family-focused, intelligent & a great journalist. Above the sexist objectification of @realDonaldTrump,” along with an absolutely gorgeous picture of him and Nancy. We could not be more amazed by how supportive and proud of her he is!

As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, the businessman turned Republican presidential nominee said absolutely horrifying things about Nancy, and women in general, in a September 2005 hot mic taping session with former Access Hollywood co-host Billy Bush, that was released to the public on Oct. 7 by The Washington Post. “And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything… Grab them by the p***y. You can do anything,” Donald told Billy at one point of how he treated women because of his celebrity status. He also revealed that he once attempted to have sex with Nancy, Billy’s then co-host on Access and a married woman, who turned him down and who he proceeded to degrade to Billy during the taping session. SICK!
Despite, everything he has said throughout the course of this election, and even before, we’re still in complete and utter shock over just how vulgar the things that came out of Donald’s mouth in this tape were and how he was able to speak about Nancy in that way. We have nothing but support for her as the, “classy, beautiful, family-focused, intelligent,” great journalist that she is known to be. And we are so glad to hear someone who is very close to her report that she is above all this. That’s just amazing.
