Whoa! Brad Pitt will reportedly NOT be prosecuted for the alleged child abuse charges, because the FBI is off the case! In fact, the FBI may have never been on the case in the first place, according to a new report!
This is a truly shocking development! The FBI has reportedly closed Brad Pitt‘s alleged child abuse case because “there is no case,” according to law enforcement sources who spoke to TMZ. After Brad, 52, was accused of allegedly striking his son Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 15, on their private jet, the LA Department of Child and Family Services reportedly turned the case over to the LAPD, who in turn transferred it to the FBI.
But apparently, while the FBI is still “fact-gathering,” according to the sources, the department allegedly never opened a formal investigation! What? The case reportedly isn’t going to move forward, and that means that Brad will likely not be prosecuted on his alleged child abuse charges!
This must come as such a relief for the entire Jolie-Pitt family, even Angelina Jolie, 41. Angelina reportedly never wanted Brad to be charged with any crimes, and “begged” police not to incriminate Brad. She just wanted custody of the kids!
While the DCFS has allegedly interviewed family members, they reportedly didn’t have any action in determining custody. But as of this point, Angelina apparently has full custody of their six children, including Maddox. So it’s not completely back to normal for the family just yet. Brad has allegedly been granted visitation rights to see his kiddos, but it reportedly must be under the supervision of a third party; this has totally irked him, understandably.
The supervision is in place because Brad allegedly has a problem with alcohol and drug addiction, as HollywoodLife.com has previously told you. Brad reportedly agreed to undergo random drug testing to prove he’s fit to see the kids — anything to see them! We hope it works out for everyone soon, especially now that the FBI is reportedly uninvolved.
