Young M.A.’s has been living her best life, as her debut single, “OOOUUU,” has been remixed by both French Montana, 31, and Remy Ma, 36, which has made her track one of the songs of the summer. The rapper (who’s acronym stands for “Me, Always,” per Fader) is trying to stay humble despite the sudden explosion of success.
“It’s crazy, man. It’s still surreal to me,” she told Fader. “It be times when I come out the crib and somebody’s driving past playing it. I would’ve never thought that’d happen for a while. I can’t really explain it. It more so motivates me to keep going.”
Young M.A. was one of the many highlights at the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards. Desiigner, 19, pulled off his best Taylor Swift, 26, during the show, getting way into the music by dancing without a single care. Get it, Desiigner. Plus, Kevin Hart, 37, got a chance to live his best life, performing as Chocolate Droppa in an epic rap battle with Lil’ Wayne, 34! Amazing!
