Talk about star power! This season of ‘The Voice,’ stepped up its game with the judges, but now they’ve announced that this season they’ll have not one, but two Key Advisers, who are a serious country power couple! Welcome to ‘The Voice,’ Tim & Faith!
“I think having the perspective of performing live in many different venues, from clubs to stadiums, will help us in working with the Voice artists this season. It’s important that they be able to connect with their audience,” Faith Hill said in a statement announcing the news. Her husband Tim McGraw, added, “I really like to dig into songs and how they need to be presented in a live environment. I’m looking forward to working with the coaches to help the artists reach their potential.”
This is the first time that the show will have two Key Advisers; they will spend time with all four teams, and coaches Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, helping out each individual with every aspect of their singing and performing.
Of course, that was the second big announcement for the couple; the pair, who have been married twenty years, also revealed that they’ll be hitting the road on their “Soul2Soul The World 2017” tour.
Their 65-city tour kicks off in New Orleans in April 2017, wand will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Faith’s last tour, ten years ago. Tickets go on pre-sale on Oct. 7, and on sale to the general public on Oct. 14. “We have the best fans in the world, who have been with us through our entire journey and we are so excited to celebrate with them by going back on the road and showcasing an exciting new show,” they said about the tour. “It’s always great when we get to work together and it’s been a while since we got to do that.” See all the show dates for the tour below!
