‘Till death do us part’ meant everything to Brad Pitt, and when his marriage to Angelina Jolie died after she filed for divorce, so did his desire to re-marry. HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that no one will see Brad walk down the aisle ever again.
“Brad is very traditional,” a source close to the 52-year-old actor EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com, noting that Brad was very ride-or-die with Angelina, 41. “When he finally married Angelina and decided to have a family with her, he intended it to be the last relationship, the last marriage he was ever going to have.”
“Now that his marriage is over, he certainly isn’t thinking about getting into a new relationship,” the source tells HollywoodLife.com, “but he also doesn’t want to get married ever again. The one thing he thought was ‘forever is now over,’ and he doesn’t want that heartache ever again.”
Heartache and pain is all Brad seems to be going through these days. Even though it’s been less than a month since Angelina filed for divorce on Sept. 19, Brad is still “feeling the effects,” the source tells HollywoodLife.com and that every day, “it’s getting more and more difficult for him, emotionally.”
With reports that Brad is in a “bad shape” and he’s been relying heavily on his mother’s help to get him through the day, it seems like the last thing Brad wants is to risk another heartbreak like this.
Though, is Brad’s pain about to go from bad…to worse? He and Angelina reached a temporary custody agreement that granted Angie sole physical custody of their six children – Maddox, 15, Zahara, 11, Pax, 12, Shiloh, and twins Knox, 8, and Vivienne, 8. Brad can visit, but only if a therapist is present. Brad feels “insulted” that he needs a legal chaperone to see a family, a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com, but that might be the best deal he gets.
After all, Brad is absolutely terrified that Angie’s “dream team” of lawyers will somehow use these allegations of child abuse to paint him “like a criminal.” If these legal experts can work their magic, this temporary custody arrangement could possibly become permanent. That would certainly give Brad another broken heart! No wife. No family. That’s incredibly sad!
What do you think about Brad Pitt swearing off marriage, HollywoodLifers? Do you think this is the right decision for him or do you think he will change his mind and get hitched once again?
