Jessica Alba may have just sported our favorite beauty look from Paris Fashion Week! The actress and businesswoman attended the Valentino show on Oct. 2 with retro waves and a classic red lip combo. Get her makeup artist’s exact how-to, ahead.
Jessica Alba, 35, chose a beauty look that never goes out of style for Paris Fashion Week. Dressed in a blue and white pinstripe blouse and red lace skirt from the brand, Jess looked beyond stunning at the Valentino Spring/Summer 2017 collection show.
Before the show, Jessica’s makeup artist and Honest Beauty Creative Color Consultant Daniel Martin shared a behind-the-scenes pic of Jess as she got ready. Giving us a close-up look at her makeup and hair, it’s no surprise that Daniel and hairstylist Jennifer Yepez used products from Jess’ own Honest Beauty to achieve her classic look.
Sharing that they were going for a ’50s-inspired look, Daniel started with the Falling For You Makeup Palette, $35, on Jessica’s eyes. For a soft look, Daniel first applied the Painted Gold shade at the inner corners of the eyes and the Chromed Rose shade along the outer corners. To define her eyes, he used the True Velvet Eyeliner in Truly Black, $16, on the top water and lash line for a super precise look. Then, he completed her eye makeup with the Truly Lush Mascara + Lash Primer, $22, letting the primer set on the lashes for several minutes before adding multiple coats of the classic black mascara.
After applying blush from the Falling For You Cheek Palette, $35, Daniel turned his attention to Jessica’s stunning ruby red lip. To get the look, he first lined and filled Jess’ lips with the Truly Kissable Lip Crayon in Strawberry Kiss, $18, and then mattified the bold red color with the Invisible Blurring Powder, $28.
