Boy, oh, boy. The ladies’ second day in Vermont divided them more than the first day did, and Jacqueline said words to both Melissa and Teresa that she’ll never be able to take back. To say the Oct. 2 episode of ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ was dramatic would be an understatement.
The drama on the Oct. 2 episode of RHONJ all started when Dolores and Siggy tried diffusing the situation, following Jacqueline‘s fight with Robyn. They felt Robyn was out of line for threatening to “rage” on Jacqueline’s ass, and should leave, but when Melissa caught wind of the situation, she felt differently. Melissa wanted everyone to try to work things out.
Later, when Melissa told Teresa that Jacqueline was going to leave if Robyn didn’t, she got really annoyed. Robyn also overheard the conversation, so she and her girlfriend took it upon themselves to skedaddle. It seemed like the right thing to do since she’s not even part of the cast, but Teresa didn’t see it that way. Instead, Teresa was pissed that things in Vermont escalated to the point, where one of her friends felt so uncomfortable that she had to leave. So what did Teresa do? Well, she held a grudge at dinner, of course, and let Jacqueline know that she was pretty pissed.
As everyone in the group sat down for dinner in Vermont, Teresa made note of the two empty seats that should have been occupied by Robyn and her girlfriend. Jacqueline then mentioned that she didn’t ask them to leave, but Teresa didn’t care. She already had her mind made up and already picked sides. And because of this, Jacqueline felt totally betrayed. Jacqueline stuck by Teresa through the table flip, her chasing after Danielle Staub, and her shoving Andy Cohen at the Season 2 reunion, so the fact that Teresa thought Jacqueline was being crazy and dramatic baffled her.
Teresa accused Jacqueline of antagonizing Robyn, and Melissa eventually sided with her sister-in-law, which just infuriated Jacqueline even more. In fact, Jacqueline couldn’t believe that Melissa would be so quick to place the blame on her, considering she was the one who helped Melissa during the stripper debacle of Season 4. “Did I not text you as soon as I found out what was going on?” Jacqueline asked Melissa, referring to the blowup at the 2011 Posche fashion show. But, of course, Melissa played dumb since she’s now loyal to Teresa. So Jacqueline called her out for it — specifically, she called Melissa a “fake phony bitch” who has had “four nose jobs.” And that was just the beginning. When Teresa then accused Jacqueline of knowing about the stripper set-up before it even happened, she freaked out, calling Teresa a “criminal” and then storming out of the restaurant.
Jacqueline ended up packing her bags that night, while Dolores and Siggy refused to partake in any activities with Teresa and Melissa the following day. They just couldn’t believe what had happened. More importantly, they couldn’t believe how Melissa and Teresa were just acting like nothing crazy had happened. “Melissa looks like she’s ready to go to Studio 54, and Teresa’s dressed up like Milania with a headband on,” Dolores said.
So, being the only two ladies left standing, Teresa and Melissa went on some sort of ski lift together and had an emotional talk about Joe Giudice‘s eventual prison sentence. They both cried and shared a Kleenex, but their tears weren’t over their falling friendship with Jacqueline. Instead, their tears were for the short time Teresa had left with Joe and then they made a pact to never let anyone come in between their friendship again. And that was that.
