Looks like Hillary Clinton has another famous supporter! Barbara Bush, former president George W. Bush’s daughter, hinted that she’ll be voting for Hillary at a fundraiser for the Democratic candidate in Paris on Oct. 1. See pics from the fundraiser right here!
While it’s unclear if Barbara, 34, traveled all the way to Paris to show her Hillary support, she made sure to make time for the fancy fundraiser! Hillary’s campaign vice chairwoman Huma Abedin and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour threw a fundraising gathering for the 68-year-old candidate called Clinton Designed To Win, complete with a super nice reception and dinner. It seems Barbara couldn’t resist such a cool event for her presidential pick!
Apparently Barbara wasn’t afraid to declare her support for Hillary financially, either. Tickets to the event reception cost $500-1000, according to Daily Mail, and a following dinner cost $5,000 (and $10,000 for a preferred seat)! Now that’s quite the way for someone to reveal who they’re voting for!
It’s unclear who Barbara took to the private dinner, which was hosted at Vogue contributor Lauren Santo Domingo‘s mansion, but she was joined by the likes of Dakota Fanning, Lauren, author Derek Blasberg and Huma. And judging by the pics from the night, they all had a great time showing their support for Hillary!
Barbara is the second member of the Bush family to reveal who they’re voting for in this year’s election, as her grandfather George H. W. Bush recently announced his support of Hillary. Considering both George H. W. Bush and George Bush were both Republican presidents, it’s rather surprising to hear that two Bushs would be voting for Hillary since she’s a Democratic candidate. We know where Barbara stands, but it’ll certainly be interesting to see who else votes for who!
