For a fleeing moment, PSG had reclaimed the spot on top of the Ligue 1 table. After blanking Dijon, 3-0, at home on Sept. 20, Les Parisiens were looking down on the rest of Ligue 1. Then, OGC Nice came along with a 4-0 victory over Monaco, putting them in first place. Going into this game, PSG is one point behind nice and tied with AS Monaco. FC Bordeaux, EA Guingamp and Toulouse are on PGS’s heels, so flopping now could be devastating for either club.

Toulouse is on a streak, having lost only 3 of their last 16 matches since appoint Pascal Dupraz, 54, as their new manager, per Sportsblog. Their defense has only allowed 5 goals in six games, and the double-trouble attack of Martin Braithwaite, 25, and Ola Toivonen, 30, have turned Toulouse into a contender this season.

The biggest block of the Ligue 1 season may have happened off the pitch. PSG made a late move to sign Diego Costa, 27, away from Chelsea during the summer transfer window, per The Independent.

PSG tried to add Diego in the deal that had David Luiz, 29, return to the blues, but Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, 47, reportedly vetoed the move. Since PSG lost Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 34, to Manchester United, the club was hoping Diego could have been a suitable replacement. Denied!

Will PSG get similarly blocked when they face off against Toulouse? HollywoodLifers, which team do you want to win this game? Do you want PSG to prevail or do you want Toulouse do triumph?
