Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are heading towards an all-out battle over custody of their six children, and Angelina has a very good reason for wanting full custody when she eventually divorces Brad, according to a Sept. 22 report. Find out why!
Brad Pitt, 52, and Angelina Jolie‘s divorce is underway, and while we’ve learned that Brad plans to fight for custody of the kids, a source tells the New York Post that Angie is going to put in every ounce of effort in order for things to turn out in her favor. Angelina “wants to take a job with the United Nations, but needs full custody of the children before she leaves LA”, according to the insider. It makes sense that Angelina would want to be able to travel with the kids without needing Brad’s approval!
Angelina is a huge humanitarian, and has been a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees since 2001, so we can see why she’d be vying for a more involved position. She was promoted in 2012 to Special Envoy to the High Commissioner, but clearly wants to achieve even greater heights. Good for her!
As we previously told you, though, Brad is also going to fight tooth and nail. We’ve heard that Brad is “livid” over the allegations that he is anything less than a great father to their kids, and would “do anything” to retain custody. Fatherhood is more important to him than anything — including his career — and a source tells us that he’d “even walk away from making movies” if was the only way to keep his children in his life. One thing is for certain: this is not going to be a pretty divorce.
