One great side effect from signing on to ‘Dancing With The Stars’ is that you will probably lose weight! It’s happened to almost every contestant in the past, and in just a few weeks, Amber Rose has lost 10 pounds!
Season 23 contestant Amber Rose says she has lost about 10 pounds in just about a month of being on Dancing With The Stars!
The training and practice sessions are quite taxing, actually, with couples dancing many hours every day of the week.
Amber has her own podcast, called Loveline with Amber Rose, and on the Sept. 22 episode, she revealed: “I’m sore as hell from Dancing with the Stars. I feel like I’m getting super toned. I feel like I lost probably 10 lbs., maybe 8 lbs. already.”
It’s not all sequins and spray tans — it’s a lot of hard work! “It’s serious,” Amber said. “People don’t understand how much work goes into it. You’re with your partner four to five hours a day, then you get home, you’re on the phone [discussing] what you need to work on, what you need to do.”
Amber added she is having “the time of my life” on the dancing competition show.
There have only been two weeks of competition and one elimination — sadly we said goodbye to Jake T. Austin on Sept. 1 — but Amber seems to be improving!
