No more show/bromances in this game! The final three battled it out on the finale of ‘Big Brother’ on Sept. 21, and then it all came down to the jury house voting! So, who won? Spoilers ahead!
The finale picked up just where last week left off — with Paul, Nicole and James battling it out in the first part of the final HOH competition. Ultimately, Paul took home the W in that after Nicole fell off a ledge first, followed right away, by James. So, Nicole and James faced off at the most frustrating “BB Adventure Park” challenge — not only did you have to choose the three contestants who were the correct answer to the trivia questions, but then you had to run through a really long staggered line, and take the roller coaster photo at the right time.
For the three photos, it took Nicole four times; however, it took James five. So, the only way he could win would be if he ran a lot faster — which was not the case. At. All. For the final HOH, they played the traditional last game, “Scales of Just Us,” where they were given part of a statement by a juror and two options; they had to pick which was correct. It was a close race, but Paul won — and cried afterward.
So, who did Paul take to the end? Well he stood up and told James that toward the end of the game, he continued to have James’ back, but he still went behind his back to “make deals with Nicole.” And with that, he took Nicole to the end; so, he took the person he thought deserved it, not the person he thought he could beat.
During the Q&A and the final plea, Paul and Nicole were both really ready to sell themselves. They came out with their full resumes of all the things they did over the season. We have to say, they both seriously prepped, and Paul obviously ended with Friendship.
James chose Paul, Corey chose Nicole, Victor chose Paul, Natalie chose Nicole, Michelle chose Paul, Paulie chose Nicole, Bridgette chose Paul, Zakiyah chose Nicole, and Da’Vonne chose Nicole.
Yes, Nicole won Big Brother season 18, becoming the first woman to ever win by beating a man in the final two. Oh and Victor won America’s Favorite Houseguest! So, did the right person win? Should Paul have taken James to the final two? Let us know!
