Today is a very sad day. Actress Mia Farrow, 71, has tragically lost her son Thaddeus on Sept. 21, after he suffered a life-threatening injury in his car, TMZ reports. The young man was just 27 years old when he died in the Danbury Hospital in Connecticut.
Mia gave birth to four kids and has lovingly adopted ten children. Thaddeus is the third that has passed away at a young age. Her son Tam Farrow passed away at just 19 years of age in 2000, after a battle with a long illness lead to tragic heart failure. In 2008 she lost a second child, Lark Previn, who was only 35. She has famously been through other family hardships, most notably when her 7-year-old daughter Dylan revealed that her partner Woody Allen had sexually abused her. Woody then sued her for full custody, saying that she made up the shocking claims. Afterwards, son Moses accused Mia of sexually abusing him. What terrible things for a mother to have to go through.
Mia adopted Thaddeus in 1994 from India, after she split from director Woody. He was just three years old at the time, and was paraplegic due to a bought with polio. She related to the child because she suffered from polio herself when she was 9 years old. Because of that, she because a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and spearheaded a campaign in 2000 to try to rid the world of the terrible disease.
