Attention! A new segment of ‘Mean Tweets’ aired on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on Sept. 21, and it is one of the best ones yet! Check out the hilarious clip after the jump, featuring Ryan Gosling and Kate Hudson, among other stars.
In the hilarious Sept. 21 edition of “Mean Tweets” on Jimmy Kimmel Live, actors Hugh Grant, Ryan Gosling, Kate Hudson, and more celebrities are forced to read horrible messages about themselves that Twitter users have shared with the world, while the song “Everybody Hurts” plays in the background, purely for our enjoyment. And, sadly, it totally works.
“Watching Hugh Grant and his stutteringly pathetic ‘charm’ is about as appealing to me as closing my scrotum in a DVD case,” Hugh read aloud from a tweet by @jordski_molloy. “Are these real, or do you make them up to be especially nasty?” he said aloud, most likely to host Jimmy Kimmel, who is the one making them face these mean tweets.
“Kate Hudson is a dead eyed trash bag that smells like low tide,” the Mother’s Day actress read from a tweet by @mekkalekkah, laughing hysterically at the hurtful message. “Why does Ryan Gosling always look like he’s trying to squeeze a fart out without it making any noise?” The Notebook actor read from a tweet from @andypstevo, following it up with the explanation, “Cause I’m a gentleman.” We know you are Ryan, we know you are.
We absolutely loved how vicious, and funny, the tweets progressively get during these segments. Not that we don’t feel bad for the celebrities. Because, you know, they have feelings too. But they are just too good for us to not tune in!
