“I was 25 years old working with Demi and Selena when they were 15,” she reminisced. “We were playing 15-year-olds. I was a frenemy. Her mom at the time was 30 so I thought it was funny how we were closer in age than Selena & Demi.” However, she was still blown away by the teenagers’ acting chops! “It was interesting because it was Demi’s first movie and she was spectacular, she’s an absolute natural. This was before her music career took off. She has a very supportive family. She’s incredibly talented and so is Selena. I was working with mega-stars, I was able to work with huge, huge mega-stars. I had no idea it would be a huge hit and I still have timid 8 year old girls ask me if I’m the mean girl Chelsea from the movie.” So cute!

Somehow, Jamie even knew back then that Selly and Demi had “star quality.” “There so charming, and they really do have that quality that you don’t know what it is about them but they have the charisma and the ‘it’ factor,” she gushed. “You knew they were going to be huge stars. They’re both very mature. And that’s a testament to their upbringing, they have great, supportive parents.”

Demi Lovato: See Pics Of Jamie’s Former Co-Star

Jamie is a star in her own right, and she’s taking Gotham by storm this season. “Currently I’m in NYC filming Gotham, which premieres September 19th,” she revealed. “We film anywhere from a dark alley in NYC and our stages are currently at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn. I play Valerie Vale. She plays a very passionate reporter, photojournalist, who finds herself in the mix with some of the scariest villains in Gotham. She goes toe to toe with them and she breaks the stories. She becomes quite smitten with Jim Gordon. He’s no longer a cop in season 3. So Valerie finds him in his darkest hour. She’s a little bit of light in his life.” We can’t wait to see!

When Jamie isn’t busy filming, she spends time hanging with her new husband Bryan Greenberg and their precious pop Ewok. She found him in a shelter after months and months of searching for the perfect family friend. That’s why she decided to team up with Petfinder.com, a site that cuts out the travelling from shelter to shelter and makes it easy to find the perfect pup for you. How sweet is that?
