A favorite for parents, the schools listed under “great financial aid” include: Vassar College at number one followed by Princeton University, Bowdoin College, and Vanderbilt University. Also on the list, Pomona College, Colgate University, and Stanford University. We love that such great schools are also considered a value!
University of Massachusetts Amherst falls into the number one spot on the “best campus food” list, which is always a favorite, followed by Bowdoin College, Cornell University, Virginia Tech, and St. Olaf College. Washington University in St. Louis and James Madison University were also on the list. Yum!
Schools listed under “best quality of life” include: Virginia Tech, Claremont McKenna College, Kansas State University, and Bowdoin College (respectively). Also on the list: Tulane University, Vanderbilt University, and University of Dayton. Sounds pretty fun, right?
And last but not least, we decided to sum up the list of best party schools in the country, because that’s definitely an important thing to consider when choosing a college. Topping off the list is University of Wisconsin—Madison with West Virginia University and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign coming in second and third. Lehigh University, University of Iowa, Syracuse University, and Colgate University were also on the list.
The Princeton Review compiled its list based on research and surveys taken by 143,000 students attending the schools, according to the Princeton Review website. And their full list of rankings is available on their site as well as in their book, The Best 381 Colleges: 2017 Edition.
