This is so heartbreaking. Marc Anthony broke down in tears during his NYC concert on Aug. 28 when he paid tribute to the legendary singer Juan Gabriel, who passed away earlier that day from a heart attack. WATCH the video right here.
Marc Anthony, 47, was so overcome with emotion as he honored legendary musician Juan Gabriel at Radio City Music Hall in New York City that he broke down crying. Marc was moved to tears as he told a story about how he saw the Mexican singer-songwriter, who tragically died at the age of 66, perform on the very same stage. Watch the video above.
Marc’s speech about his memory of Gabriel had the crowd in tears, too, and he had the audience help him out with singing one of Gabriel’s hit songs, “Abrázame Muy Fuerte”.

Marc also posted an Instagram to pay his respects to the late singer. “Today the world of Latin music lost a giant, an icon and a legend that marked my like forever. He is largely responsible that my career took course from the first day. Hugely sad with the news of the loss of one of my heroes,” Marc wrote. “A life greater than life goes out today, but your music and your legacy will stay with us forever. Rest in peace my light.” Our hearts go out to everyone mourning.
@soyjuangabriel
