Ashley I. just needed to find a new man to distract her — and this was her week. While Jared and Caila cozied up, she finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel… and his name was Wells.
Wells definitely caught Ashley‘s eye, and the entire house spent his first few minutes begging him to take her out. When they finally talked, he admitted to stalking her Instagram, so clearly he was interested too and he took her out for a taco-riffic date. She didn’t know how to flirt, they talked about Hanson, and their love of dogs. They also made a wish, set a fire lantern free, with hopes it wouldn’t light on fire — if it didn’t, their wish would come true. And as they walked away, it burst into flames.
Grant and Lace reached a heating moment this week too because she flirted with Carl and he stormed away — but he later apologized for overreacting. Speaking of overreacting… Josh Murray. This week showed a different side of Josh when Amanda went to bed without telling him and he got mad at her. He wanted to sleep with her in the boom boom room so was not okay with Nick and Jen taking it. Naturally, he had quite the attitude about it.
The twins felt worried about Amanda so they asked Nick for his opinion, which was clear — there were red flags about Josh’s anger issues. He brought up the “scary” things that Andi Dorfman wrote in her book, and said that maybe Josh came on to clear up his image — ie., by falling for the nicest woman in the house.
When it came time for the rose ceremony, both Evan and Carly and Josh and Amanda said they were falling in love — but the big shocker was that the twins decided to leave, which also meant Ryan, Carl and Daniel were sent packing. Before they could go home, the twins took Amanda aside and said a “source” told them Josh may not have the best intentions; he said maybe he was here to better his image after Andi’s book.
No shocker here — Josh flipped out and to find out the “source,” Josh approached everyone as a whole to ask who had something to say. Cue Nick! The fight got heated quickly, as Amanda sat crying in the background. Nick did admit that he told the twins his opinion — that sometimes he thought Josh was “full of sh-t.” Nick also brought up Andi’s book, saying what she wrote about him was true.
Josh stormed off, of course, and ended up packing his stuff: he didn’t want to stay if she believed all of the rumors. Luckily for him, she didn’t believe them — she believed him, and ended up apologizing to him for even doubting it at all.
There was a newcomer this week too after that hurricane: Jamie. Wells was the only one awake, so she asked him and he said yes. The house expected Ashley to immediately cry, but she totally didn’t. However, she decided instead to talk to Caila, and she got to the point — she doubted her intentions. It upset Caila so much that she went and told Jared she was officially ready to leave. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if that will really happen, next week.
