Uh oh! Anthony Weiner put the nail in the coffin of his marriage when he was caught once again sexting other women. Now, a New York divorce attorney tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY how likely it is that he may lose custody of his 4-year-old son to soon-to-be-ex Huma Abedin.
Anthony Weiner may have lost more than his wife Huma Abedin with his most recent sexting scandal. New York Divorce Attorney Robert Wallack says he may also lose custody of his 4-year-old son Jordan Zain. Robert is an expert in this area, as he represented Christie Brinkley in her divorce from Peter Cook.
“Yes, Huma could get full custody,” Robert told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “When you are determining custody in NYC, the primary consideration is the best interest of the child. The fact that Anthony was sexting and it involved a photograph of his son will play a big factor.” Of course, this scandal was worse than all of the rest because he sent a photo of his boner (in pants) while laying in bed next to his son, who is also in the photo. So creepy!
“A court-appointed forensic psychiatrist will do an evaluation of the family,” Robert continued. “If the forensic expert were to find that Anthony’s sex addiction detrimentally affects the child and his ability to parent the child, that would weigh in favor of her having custody of the child.” Yikes. It definitely doesn’t seem like a positive situation for a child to be in.
“Once custody is determined, then the court will calculate child support,” the lawyer continued. “If Huma is deemed the primary custodial parent, then Anthony will have to pay her child support. In this case, it doesn’t matter which parent earns more money.”
