Way to S-L-A-Y!!! Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj absolutely killed it at the MTV VMAs with a rousing rendition of ‘Side to Side.’ Keep reading for more details about their mind-blowing performance that lit the show on fire with their workout themed routine!
Ariana Grande, 23, performing “Side to Side” featuring Nicki Minaj, 32, promised to be one of the highlights of the MTV Music Video Awards and boy did they deliver in spectacular fashion. Ari first appeared onstage to sing the reggae-flavored tune while chugging away on an exercise bike, full on doing a Soul Cycle routine while singing. She and a team of sexy dancers used their bikes to do some hot moves in addition to getting their workout on.
Eventually she got off and walked along the stage past buff guys in skin-tight pink wrestling outfits who were working out with weights, and doing super racy squats and leg lifts. She ended up sprawling across a gymnastics vault, doing some limber high kicks while a male dancer helped caress her! Whoa baby! Her voice is so strong she was able to do all that while never missing a high note!

Then Nicki showed up in a pink leotard that totally accentuated her amazing booty. Like Ari, she was surrounded by hot guys in super tight outfits who helped her maneuver around the stage while she dropped her rhymes. These are definitely a pair of Dangerous Women! Their performance was so rousing that the camera cut to the likes of Kim Kardashian and Jaden Smith in the audience going wild with applause when they finished.
“I love her, I feel like we have a strong sisterhood. I adore this woman,” Ari said on the red carpet ahead of the awards, showing how strong her bond with Nicki is. Not only did the two ladies totally heat up the stage, they also got to sit next to each other in the A-list audience. That way they were able to keep all that energy from the stage still going in the crowd cheering on the other amazing artists of the night.
