Uh oh. Ryan Lochte may run into trouble — again — if he ends up on the new season of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ as reported. HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that many of the pros are not interested in two-stepping with the disgraced Olympian.
While Ryan Lochte, 32, is working on cleaning up his reputation after lying about being robbed at gunpoint in Rio, rumors are heavily swirling that he could be a contestant on the 23rd season of Dancing With The Stars. Even though DWTS would be a great fit for Ryan after his scandal, some of his potential dance partners are not feeling the idea.
“He wants to, his people want to, but the professional dancers are lobbying not to be with him because they don’t want to get voted out first. It effects their payday,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Despite the dancers putting up a fight, our source continued, “Nothing is official but it is closer to happening then it was this past weekend.”
While many Americans may want to watch Ryan redeem himself on the show, he will definitely need a dedicated partner by his side to make it happen. If the dancers are “lobbying” against him… well, needless to say that’s not a great start to winning the mirror ball trophy.
There are also reports that Maksim Chmerkovoskiy is returning to the competitive dance show where he will compete against his own brother, Valentin Chmerkovoskiy. While neither one of those guys will end up being Ryan’s partner, maybe they can help shed some light on why all of the women on DWTS aren’t tripping over each other to dance with him?
