Oh boy, here we go again! Kanye West is going to take the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 28, and a new report claims he will be singing his controversial hit ‘Famous.’ So, does that mean he plans to take yet another jab at Taylor Swift? Here’s the scoop!
Is the Taylor Swift/Kanye West feud about to explode all over again? A source tells UsWeekly that Kanye plans to use his unrestricted 4 minutes on the MTV Video Music Awards stage to sing his controversial song “Famous” for the first time live on TV. We’ve got a bad feeling about this!
Of course we all remember the drama that followed Kanye’s original release of the song at New York Fashion Week in 2015. Taylor said she was shocked by the lyrics calling her a “b*tch” and saying they might “still have sex,” and Kanye said she knew about and approved them ahead of time. When the music video came out featuring a naked sleeping was figure of TayTay, things only got more heated. Lastly, Kim Kardashian released the video in which Taylor approved Kanye’s lyric, proving she was dishonest about it.
TMZ reports that Kanye has been given free reign to do whatever he wants for his performance at the VMAs, and that could most certainly include one last shot at Taylor. However, they might also make up on-stage, much like last year when she presented him his VMA Video Vanguard award. The drama is fun to watch, but at this point we really just want to see them focus on the music and have fun, so fingers crossed no more disses go flying!
HollywoodLifers, what do you think Kanye will do at the Video Music Awards? Will he go after Taylor again? Share your thoughts with us!
