Donald Trump is doubling down on his outrageous claim that Hillary Clinton is a ‘bigot,’ but fortunately CNN’s Anderson Cooper is calling him out for it. He grilled the Republican presidential nominee in a one on one interview about hwo could make such an accusation, so keep reading for Donald’s ridiculous response.
Donald Trump, 70, is continuing his horrid new narrative that Hillary Clinton is a “bigot” when he doubled down on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 Aug 25. After making the shocking and totally false claim at a nearly all-white Mississippi campaign rally, he told Anderson, 49, that “She’s a bigot” about his 68-year-old Democratic opponent.
“But how is she bigoted? Bigotry is having hatred towards a particular group,” a stunned Anderson asked him, giving the definition of the word so that Donald would have to respond about his completely outrageous and untrue claim. Remember, this is the guy who in his announcement that he was running for president called Mexicans “criminals” and “rapists.”

“Because she is selling them down the tubes, because she’s not doing anything for those communities. She talks a good game. But she doesn’t do anything,” he replied. “So you’re saying she has hatred or dislike of black people?” Anderson continued, trying to get him to define why exactly he’s choosing to call Hillary a bigot — such an inflammatory word — when she so clearly isn’t. “Her policies are bigoted because she knows they’re not going to work,” was Donald’s lame response.
“But you’re saying she’s personally bigoted?” Anderson pressed on, trying to get him to give him an example of why he’d make such a baseless statement. “Oh she is. Of course she is. Her policies,” Donald replied. “She’s totally bigoted there’s no question about that.” Luckily Anderson wasn’t going to let him skate on his baseless claims, asking, “But it does imply that she has antipathy, that she has hatred toward, I guess in this case you’re talking about African Americans,” Coop queried.
“She has been extremely extremely bad for African Americans,” Donald interrupted. “I think she has been extremely bad for Hispanics…Look at the rise in poverty. Look at the rise in violence.” Anderson jumped in, “But hatred is at the core of that or dislike of African Americans?” but Donald just responded “Or maybe she’s lazy.” OMG, how weak!
For her part, Hillary totally called Donald out at a Reno, NV rally, telling the audience that he, “He built his campaign on prejudice and paranoia. He is taking hate groups mainstream and helping a radical fringe take over the Republican party. His disregard for the values that make our country great is profoundly dangerous.” She also gave example after example of how Donald has proven — in his own words — to be a total bigot throughout his campaign.
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Donald making such baseless claims about Hillary? Does this make you dislike him even more?
