Gregg Sulkin Gets Cast In Bella Thorne Produced ‘Drink, Slay, Love’ – Awkward?

Thu, August 25, 2016 10:38am EDT by 1 Comment

Isn’t this just the most cringe-worthy news ever? Gregg Sulkin and Bella Thorne have broken up but they’re still going to see a lot of each other, as Gregg has been cast to star in her new movie! Yikes.

Does it get any more awkward than going to work for an ex after you break-up? Gregg, 24, is about to find out! The Wizards Of Waverly Place star has signed on to appear in Drink, Slay, Love, a Lifetime television movie that has Bella, 18, as an executive producer, per Deadline. Uh-oh. Bella’s gone from being Gregg’s bae to being his boss.

Well, Gregg seemed to be down with working with Bella when they were still going out. When asked if he would like to star alongside his then-GF, Gregg EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com that “she is such a great actress, so why not?I have seen her auditions, I have seen her on set, and she is such a professional.” What’s the saying? “Be careful what you wish for, because you might just get it.”

Though, Greg made those comments weeks before he and Bella split and way before she shared pictures of her passionately kissing Bella Pendergast, 20, (following her coming out as bisexual.) Hopefully, he still thinks Bella and he can remain “professional,” as shooting on Drink, Slay, Love has already begun shooting.

The movie, based on Sarah Beth Durst’s novel of the same name, follows teenage vampire Pearl (Cierra Ramierez) after she somehow becomes immune to sunlight and enrolls in high school! Bella doesn’t star in the movie, as she’s only working on the film as a co-executive producer. Perfect High’s Vanessa Parise will direct.

What could be more awkward than working for your ex-girlfriend? How about having your “soulmate” fall in love with someone else? Though Bella T. shared Snaps of her smooching Bella P., days before this revelation, Bella P. was seen getting romantic with a guy named Bram Kolber, calling him “babe.” Now, if Bram somehow ends up working on Drink, Slay, Love along with Gregg, that could possibly be the most awkward, cringe-worthy, uncomfortable thing ever!

What do you think about Gregg and Bella working together after their breakup, HollywoodLifers? Could you work with an ex following a split, or would it be too much for you?
