Get ready for a ‘Fast & Furious’ smackdown! The alleged beef between Vin Diesel and The Rock is so bad, a new report claims that these former ‘Fast 8’ friends are going to settle their feud the only way they can – with an epic WWE match!
Forget Hulk Hogan, 63, vs. Andre The Giant, Shawn Michaels, 51, vs. Bret Hart, 59, and Brock Lesnar, 39, vs. The Undertaker, 51. The next big WWE war will be between the Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment and the Diesel-powered dynamo, as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, 44, and Vin Diesel, 49, are planning to settle their alleged Fast 8 beef in a WWE ring, according to Life & Style.
Wow, have things gotten so bad between these two bros that they need to beat the hell out of each other? Actually, according to Life & Style, no. This Fast & Furious feud is all a fake! “They are playing a huge prank,” an insider tells the magazine, “and it’s all for publicity.”
GASP! So when The Rock went on Facebook to call out some male Fast & Furious co-stars as “candy asses” and “chicken sh*t(s),” it was all a work? Well, not entirely. “While there is a bit of truth to their rivalry,” the insider tells Life & Style, “The Rock convinced Vin to amp up the drama between them so they could turn it into a WWE match to promote the April 2017 release of Fast 8.”
If this reported feud between Dwayne and Vin is just a ruse, it’s been a pretty convincing one. Vin and the Rock reportedly had a nasty confrontation following his social media tirade, and Vin dropped a cryptic video where he promised to reveal “everything.” The Rock returned the shade, giving love to everyone except Vin when shooting for Fast 8 wrapped up.
Though, there were some early hints that this was all just a huge prank, as a source EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com that the two had settled their differences, and that they were playing up this alleged rivalry to “sell tickets.” Huh. Fun fact: WrestleMania 33 is on April 2, 2017, two weeks before Fast 8 comes out. Could this beef be settled on the biggest night of sports entertainment?
Do you think that the feud between The Rock and Vin Diesel is just a stunt, HollywoodLifers? Even if it is, do you want to see them fight in the WWE ring?
