‘Gilmore’ fans — listen up! If you thought it couldn’t get any better than the reboot of the series, you’re about to be amazed! A new fan festival has been announced that will let you live out your Lorelei fantasies in the town that inspired Stars Hollow! Holy Paul Anka!
Washington Depot is the name of the small town in Connecticut that inspired Gilmore Girls’ creator Amy Sherman-Palladino’s iconic and adorable hamlet of Stars Hollow. Now, it will also serve as the location for the first ever Gilmore Girls Fan Fest, where diehard fans (note: see me!) will have the chance to drink coffee, gorge on snacks, and meet the stars of the hit show!
Oh yes, for what is a fan convention without a chance to meet some of your favorite actors! Already, the team behind Gilmore Girls Fan Fest has Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore), Jackson Douglas (Jackson Belleville), Yanic Truesdale (Michel Gerard), Vanessa Marano (April Nardini), Rini Bell (Lulu), Aris Alvarado (Caesar), Biff Yeager (Tom), and Ted Rooney (Morey) lined-up to attend AND participate in a town meeting! Fingers crossed that Taylor will find his way there too!
But wait — there’s more! There’s going to be a Friday Night Dinner bonanza! A knit-a-thon (leave your wallet at home, Christopher!) And, of course, screenings of classic Gilmore Girls episodes! The Gilmore Girls Fan Fest will take place Oct. 21- 23 and tickets are available by CLICKING HERE.
HollywoodLifers, are you not DYING to go to this? Wouldn’t it just be a dream?!
