‘Twilight’ fans loved it when Kristen Stewart portrayed Bella Swan, but for K-Stew, those were the worst years of her life. In a new interview, Kristen admitted that while she was starring opposite Robert Pattinson on screen, she was dealing with severe anxiety!
Kristen, now 26-years-old, told T magazine that she battled “debilitating physical anxiety” throughout her teens and into her early 20s. Fans keeping score know that’s right around the time she was filming the Twilight series and also when she and Robert Pattinson, 30, were together. Hmm.
Thankfully, Kristen has since conquered this horrible anxiety, saying that the attention that comes with being a famous actress is “no longer negative or fear-based.” Instead, she seems more confident than ever before. “I do think that’s because of the storms I have weathered,” she tells T magazine. “It’s not that they make you stronger or calloused — but they do make you a human.”
Instead of horrible anxiety, it sounds like the Still Alice actress has filled her life with love. After years of speculation that they were a couple, Kristen came clean about her relationship with visual-effects producer, Alicia Cargile, 29, saying that she’s absolutely in love with her girlfriend. Kristen even said that while she wants to keep details of her love life private from her fans, she didn’t want to come off like she was hiding “the idea,” which is why she proclaimed her love for Alicia!
Sorry, Robsten fans, but she pulled a Taylor Swift, 26, and pretty much said she and the Water For Elephants actor are never, ever getting back together. She even blasted the fans that wanted to see Bella and Edward be a couple in real life, saying that they turned her relationship with Rob “into a product.” She even called the relationship “gross!”
Ouch! Robert was hurt by Kristen’s comments, a source close to the Twilight star EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com, noting that Rob thinks is ex went out of her way to trash him. Yet, a K-Stew insider tells HollywoodLife.com that Kristen was just being honest with who she was and she never meant to “disrespect” Rob in any way.
What do you think about Kristen saying she was suffering from terrifying anxiety while she was filming Twilight, HollywoodLifers? Are you glad she’s been able to move on and find happiness?
