It looks like Shay Mitchell has been seriously inspired by the 2016 Olympics. The actress and fitness buff shared her latest workout on Snapchat, where she tackled legs, arms and abs exercises for two hours! Get the details on Shay’s insane workout, ahead.
Shay Mitchell, 29, might not be competing in the Olympics anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean she can’t train like the athletes! The Pretty Little Liars star has always been dedicated to her fitness routine, often sharing clips of her training on her Instagram and Snapchat accounts, but she really amped up her workout on August 16.
Though she usually sticks to her boxing sessions (just like model Gigi Hadid), in the spirit of the summer Olympics, Shay decided to switch up her routine with personal trainer Harley Pasternak. Starting things off with some crunches and sprints to warm up, Shay saved the real work for later.
Working with her second trainer of the day, Zach Murray, Shay practiced her volleyball skills, staying in a squat position as she shuffled between a set of cones to hit the ball back and forth. “Training for Rio,” she captioned one of her videos during her two-hour routine.
But Shay’s workout didn’t stop there! She also completed a football camp-style workout, sprinting and shuffling between cones with a football in hand, tossing a 12-pound medicine ball and even managing to goof off as she practiced her touchdown dance.
