Khloe Kardashian is standing up to cancer! The always brutally honest reality star is urging fans to get checked after she discovered a cancerous mole on her back that resulted in ‘eight inches of skin’ being removed from her body. Read on for her fearful confession.
Pimples and acne are the LEAST of Khloe Kardashian‘s, 32, worries when it comes to proper skin care. It’s every woman’s worst nightmare to discover a mysterious lump in their breasts, but for Khloe, her battle with cancer started as a tiny mole on her back. “There was one mole I had on my back that was skin cancer,” she wrote on her app. “I had eight inches of skin removed. It was definitely painful because it was a lot of skin, but most of the time, the removals haven’t been that bad.”
Unfortunately, that’s not the only heath scare Khloe has encountered. She went on to open up about a blemish that started growing under her breasts that also caused a change in their shape. Thankfully, the freckle was “benign.” Ever since, the Strong Looks Better Naked author has been adamant about her daily skin care routine, revealing that she uses SIX different products religiously. These products include an anti-aging clay mask, herbal gel cleanser, and overnight resurfacing serum.
Although the fitness fanatic has finally found the courage to stand up to the disease, it took her a long time to come to terms with her health issues. Mother Kris Jenner had been BEGGING Khloe to see a doctor about her mole, but she refused out of stone cold fear. “You don’t care if you could possibly get breast cancer?” Kris asked in a Keeping Up With The Kardashian episode that aired in Jan. Keeping a poker face, Khloe replied, “We’re all going to die. I don’t care.” Making matters even worse, the reality star’s father and famous lawyer Robert Kardashian passed away in 2003 just eight weeks after being diagnosed with cancer. Sometimes the hardest person to face in life is yourself, so we’re proud of Khloe for staying so strong!
