Nick Viall hasn’t had the best luck with love — he’s been the runner up on two seasons of ‘The Bachelorette,’ and on ‘Bachelor in Paradise,’ the one girl he was interested in was more into the guy he lost to on ‘The Bachelorette.’ So yeah, that has to hurt. But is his luck changing? It looks like it…
“Jen comes in and she’s stunning,” Nick Viall says in the sneak peek for tonight’s Bachelor in Paradise episode. Jen Saviano, who was Ben Higgins‘ first kiss on his season of The Bachelor, clearly wins Nick’s interest right away as they’re on a date and making out on the beach right away.
Amanda Stanton, who Nick was initially into earlier this season, claimed that Nick actually told her he came to Paradise hoping to meet Jen — Amanda actually said that was part of the reason she was turned off by him. Then he said it again later. At the rose ceremony, he said he “wanted to get to know Leah [Block] and I BOTH better, and reminded me ONCE AGAIN that he was also ‘very excited for Jen to arrive,'” she told Us Weekly.
We did see Nick chat with Amanda on this week’s first episode, to warn her about her new love, Josh Murray. The book Andi Dorfman put out featured both Josh and Nick, but really slandered Josh’s name and claimed he was verbally abusive.
“I didn’t read the book, I have a general idea of what it says about Josh,” Nick told Amanda before the rose ceremony on Monday’s episode. “I hope Andi didn’t make all that up, because what she said was some pretty nasty stuff. And I guess my thought when I heard about it was I hope to God it’s completely false, and completely fictional. I don’t know if he’s a good guy or a bad guy, I don’t know if what was written was true or false, but ask the right questions.”
Well for Nick’s sake, I really hope it works out with Jen — being dumped twice on The Bachelorette and once already on BiP is too much for anyone to handle.
