LOL! Seth Rogen is giving new meaning to playing with your food — and we CAN’T stop giggling! Using hidden cameras and talking fruit, Seth played one hilarious prank on NYC grocery shoppers. Check out the epic video if you want to be rolling on the floor laughing.
Thank you, Seth Rogen, 34, for making our Friday THAT much more special! What started as a normal day for a multitude of New York City grocery shoppers turned into a RIDICULOUS prank they’ll never forget. In hopes of bumping up the hype surrounding his new raunchy animated movie, Sausage Party, Seth thought talking ingredients would send a bolder message than some additional billboards — and boy, was he right! With the help of hidden cameras and robotic food, Seth scared the living daylights out of these shoppers! Watch above!
Not only does the food talk, it also spits out some crazy insults! Imagine reaching for a loaf of bread and out of no where it YELLS, “That’s gonna’ go straight to your a–!” Harsh! In the video you can also watch the Canadian funnyman and his crew working behind the scenes. While the Pineapple Express actor has always been funny, his talking food prank could have been inspired by Leonardo DiCaprio‘s spoof on Jonah Hill that instantly became a viral hit.
Some of Seth’s other comical performances can be seen in The Interview, Superbad, and This Is The End — but that’s not to say his humor has been well received by everyone. Just ask Katherine Heigl, whose long-standing feud with Seth started when she called their Knocked Film film “sexist,” and her co-star didn’t exactly agree. “I heard afterwards she didn’t like [the film] — she didn’t seem to like the process or the end product either — and your trust feels betrayed,” Seth explained on The Howard Stern Show. But with humor being so subjective, it’s merely impossible to make a joke these days without offending someone. Seth, we love you just the way you are!
