The “Sorry” singer has been nothing but smiles since he started hanging out with 17-year-old Sofia Richie, and it’s definitely starting to shine through. The new photos of Justin and Sofia were taken by a fan who recognized them as they hung out in Japan. HollywoodLife.com assumed that’s where the young pair were headed after they were spotted boarding a private jet together on August 10. After all, Justin has a tour stop there on Saturday, August 13, so it made the most sense that they would be headed there instead of on an impromptu getaway.

Just hours before the pair left for Japan they were photographed going on a hike together in California. Though they weren’t holding hands or anything, Justin couldn’t wipe the massive smile off of his face! It’s obvious he really enjoys spending time with Sofia, so we’re happy to see him having so much fun with his new friend. We can’t wait to see if Sofia rocks out during his concert on Saturday night!
