Oreo has cooked up yet another unconventional flavor of sandwich cookies, and this time, they’ve chosen Swedish Fish as their latest collaboration for this Limited Edition variety. VOTE and tell us what you think about this latest crazy flavor!
Dare to wonder…what a Swedish Fish-flavored Oreo would taste like! Yep, Nabisco has done it again by releasing Swedish Fish cookies, which are available exclusively in Kroger grocery stores. Don’t waste another second — vote in our poll and tell us whether you think Swedish Fish Oreos are a great idea or not!
Furthermore, I encourage you to read the following hilarious review of the cookies. The highlights? “Swedish Fish Oreos are an entirely different creature,” food blogger Dan writes for The Impulsive Buy. He calls the cream “sticky, chewy, and slimy” — oh, ew! “The creme’s taste, though, is just like Swedish Fish. It has potent, puckering pops of candied cherry and a slightly off-putting finish of waxy gelatin,” Dan adds. “I could probably recreate it with a box of Swedish Fish and a blender.” Wouldn’t put it past you, Dan. Love you.
It’s hard to say whether this is the craziest flavor Oreo has come up with so far. By clicking through our gallery, attached, you can see all of the weird Oreo varieties including Blueberry Pie, Fruity Crisp and Pumpkin Spice. Come on, why mess with the perfection that is an artery-clogging slather of cream between two chocolate-y cookies? Of course, it’s hard to keep it fresh by sticking to only the conventional flavors, so we’re sure to see many more unexpected flavor combos in the years to come.
