There’s definitely some serious bad blood between exes Josh Murray and Andi Dorfman. On the Aug. 8 episode of ‘Bachelor in Paradise,’ Josh dissed Andi on his date with Amanda Stanton, saying Andi’s nasty words about him in her tell-all are ‘ludicrous’ and ‘fictional.’
Amanda didn’t waste any time confronting Josh about his very public breakup with Andi. The two got engaged at the end of season 10 of The Bachelorette, but they split 9 months later. Andi wrote a memoir, It’s Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak into Happily Never After, and slammed Josh over and over again.
“It was so hard,” Josh told Amanda about dealing with the aftermath of Andi’s book. “She had some not-so-kind things to say, and it’s very unfortunate that she would depict me in such a false way. It’s like, how am I supposed to comment on these excerpts that people are sending me to a fictional story, something that’s just not true at all? It’s definitely frustrating, but it doesn’t affect me until somebody asks me about it.”
Josh later added to the camera, “I can’t comment on specific things in any kind of book that my ex has written because it’s a fictional story. There’s stuff that’s so ludicrous. How do you comment on something like that?”
In her book, Andi claims that Josh called her “a b*tch or a whore” over the course of their relationship. She says that her romance was Josh was “the most volatile and f**ked up relationship of my life.” YIKES!
The former pro baseball player told Amanda on their one-on-one that he was taking the “high road” and not going to let Andi’s words about him “affect me at all.”
Josh must be having a serious case of deja vu since he’s fighting with longtime nemesis Nick Viall for the same girl once again. Josh showed up on the Aug. 8 episode and set his sights on Amanda. Will Nick come out on top this time? Bachelor in Paradise airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
