This is NUTS. Could Adele be the 2017 Super Bowl halftime performer? A new report claims that the NFL is doing ‘everything’ to get the British sensation on their stage.
We are SO here for this! There is a wild rumor swirling that Adele, 27, could take the stage during the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show. Needless to say, she would be an incredible follow-up to Beyonce, Coldplay, and Bruno Mars who performed at the 2016 show.
“There is nobody bigger in the world than Adele right now and organizers are doing absolutely everything they can to try to persuade her to sign up,” a source told The Sun. “She’s sold out every date on her tour, everyone wants a piece of her and they know they can bank on her bringing in the viewers.”
However, the source claims there’s only one thing holding the deal back.”It’s Adele’s nerves that are the issue — it hasn’t been an easy sell.” Aw! Well, if that’s the case we really, truly hope that Adele decides to tackle the show. It would be really great to see her totally own the halftime show.
There has been a lot of talk about getting a real powerhouse woman performer to dominate the upcoming Super Bowl. As HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY reported in March 2016, organizers were extremely hopeful to land Jennifer Lopez, 47, as the halftime performer. Hey, why not just choose both? We would definitely watch these two divas shake up the Super Bowl field in Texas!
