Well, this is interesting. Artists Allie and Lexie Kaplan used Kim Kardashian’s sex tape with Ray J as their artistic inspiration for a new exhibition, ‘Make Me Famous,’ which consists of graphic stills from the raunchy video. See the results here!
While discussing their world with EliteDaily, Allie Kaplan said, “It was my idea, I just said to her, I’m like what if we just painted a series of Kim Kardashian’s sex tape? I think that would be so funny.”
Lexie added, “People should not be taking it seriously, we’re not out to like offend anyone. So just like these iconic controversial moments where celebrities are kind of like exploiting themselves.”

The twins actually think the painting of Kim Kardashian smiling is “hilarious.” Then, they added, “And then like obviously the one of her s*****g Ray J‘s d*** is just like…funny.” We’re not totally sure we’d consider it to be funny, but what is hilarious is the fact that Allie showed one of the paintings to her ex-boyfriend’s parents and, “His mom was like, ‘Is that a lollipop? Is that a cupcake?’ I’m like, it’s a penis.” (Doesn’t she know Kim doesn’t eat cupcakes?)
While some have accused their art of being “porn,” the twins insist it’s art. “We get a lot of like s**t-shaming for even painting like provocative things,” they said in the video. They’ve even painted provocative images of themselves. “So we have one of like our boobs, yeah we’re standing next to each other with our boobs. Then we have one of us with chocolate smeared all over our butts and strawberries up our butts.”
They also said they’re huge fans of Kim Kardashian. “It’s kind of like what’s to hate, you know?” Lexie asked.
