This is SO sweet! All of Brazil got emotional watching supermodel and national treasure Gisele Bundchen do a special walk at the Olympics opening ceremony, but what brought her to tears was a supportive message from her hubby Tom Brady. Watch her reaction, here.
Gisele Bundchen came out of retirement on Aug. 5 for the big opening ceremony of the Rio Olympics. The supermodel took a walk through the massive arena while the crowd cheered for the Brazilian beauty, and it was an emotional moment for everyone. Especially her husband, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
The football star took to Facebook on Aug. 6 to gush about his gorgeous wife and share his pride. “Congratulations Brazil on the incredible opening ceremony of the Olympic Games!” he began. “Gisele, words can’t describe how proud I was to watch you represent your country. I love you.” Oh my gosh, so sweet!
Gisele sat down for an interview with Access Hollywood on Aug. 8, where she revealed that she “didn’t see” the message yet. When host Natalie Morales read it to her, she began tearing up “Uhg, makes me emotional, let’s not talk about that!” she joked, waving her hands in front of the camera so it wouldn’t catch her tears. “He’s so sweet, he’s my husband of course.”
Once she got herself back together, she said “Thank you, thank you, Lovey, thank you. I appreciate it. He’s so supportive.” How precious is that? The duo has been together for 7 years now after getting married in 2009, and they have two children together. Somehow they’ve managed to keep the love and support going all this time and we love it!
