Shots fired! Perpetual nice guy Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is beyond pissed off over the unprofessional behavior of some of his ‘Fast and the Furious 8’ male co-stars and he’s boldly calling them out. Keep reading for his scathing message and who he could be dissing as ‘chicken sh*t’ and ‘candy asses.’
Whoa! Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, 44, is one of the most professional entertainers in the business, so his new Facebook tirade against some of his Fast and the Furious 8 co-stars seems so out of character. He’s wrapping up shooting his role as Hobbs in the franchise’s latest saga and while he isn’t naming names, he’s totally going off on some of his fellow actors as unprofessional, with some spicy words to describe their behavior.
“This is my final week of shooting Fast & Furious 8. There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one,” he begins a Facebook post on Aug. 8, so he’s letting us know already that shooting the action films has already gotten under his skin over the years.
“An incredible hard-working crew. Universal Studios Entertainment has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em,” he notes before things take a shocking turn.
“My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken sh*t to do anything about it anyway. Candy a**es. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.” WOW! We’ve never seen The Rock call out co-stars so publicly and with so much venom, so things must have gotten pretty bad.
Now comes the curious part of who he could be referring to. Franchise newcomer Scott Eastwood, 30, has a role that should put him in contact with The Rock, and he has already dissed on the cast in a recent Esquire interview, where he humble bragged they just hung out in their trailers while hard working Scott claimed he stuck around to learn things from the crew. Other FF8 male cast members include Jason Statham, Ludacris, Vin Diesel, Kurt Russell, Tyrese, Kristofer Hivju and Lucas Black. So who could it be?
“Bottom line is it’ll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that’s embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part. Final week on FAST 8 and I will finish strong. #IcemanCometh #F8 #ZeroToleranceForCandyAsses,” he ended his missive. Now we’re dying for Apr. 2017 to roll around so we can watch to see who his scene partners are and who clearly infuriates the superstar.
HollywoodLifers, which actors do you think The Rock is referring to with his disses?
