There’s plenty of “love” in Rio, as the best stars on the court have gathered in Brazil for the 2016 Olympics. The action continues on Aug. 7, and while some players will advance, others will see their gold medal dreams be shattered like so many busted tennis rackets. The action kicks off at 9:00 A.M. ET so be ready to watch every second!

Just like on Aug. 6, when the tennis tournaments got underway, the competition is a straight knock-out, according to The Telegraph. That means you go big or you go home. This will be another round of exciting tennis action, leading to the men’s singles final on Aug. 14, the women’s singles final on Aug. 13 and the doubles finals (both men and women) on Aug. 14.
Andy Murray, 29 has been riding high since he won his second Wimbledon title in July. The Brit is hoping to be like Drake, 29, and go back-to-back, as he won the gold medal in Men’s singles during the London games in 2012. Andy’s biggest competition is arguably Novak Djokovic, 29, who will want to erase his embarrassing loss at Wimbledon with a gold medal. Neither men have to worry about Roger Federer, 34, as he’s out for the rest of the year with a knee injury.
As for Serena Williams, 34, she and sister Venus Williams, 36, are looking to win their third consecutive gold medal in Doubles. Serena’s the defending women’s singles champion. After reasserting herself as the best tennis player on the planet at Wimbledon, Serena could be leave Rio de Janeiro with two of the best kind of souvenirs – a pair of shiny new gold medals.
